Honestly people, I cannot believe your response to my complaint about parking. The last time I checked they did have special spots for elderly people to park who have a need for it or those who are handicap. I didn't choose to have 5 kids, I worked hard for 11 years to get pregnant and had to go through fertility measures to do so. Why can't people just be decent to one another and not expect someone to police them? Why should I go up to 2 grown men who should know right from wrong when I'm carrying my 10 month old and am pregnant to confront them? Do you know what can happen to a young woman now days? Truly I understand that there are other people who have needs, that's why I don't park in handicap spots and when I have the ability to walk and carry my child I do. It's not out of laziness as you indicated that I am. I am in a high risk pregnancy but even I need to take care of my family and buy groceries. No wonder this world is so bad off. I would never be so rude to another human being. I have heard the I walked to school in 2 feet of snow talk and trust me, if there would have been another option available for you I highly doubt you would have turned it down. People need to stop being so cruel or is that so much to ask? I think this is a legitimate complaint, I'm sorry that you think it isn't but maybe if you were in another person's position you would. By the way, I am not a VERY young lady. I'm nearly 35 years old. Woman are chosing to be more responsible these days and are waiting till they are older and more settled to have children so don't assume that just because I'm complaining about this issue that I'm a teenager. They have just as much right to that parking as anyone else, especially for those of you out there who choose to be rude and park there when there is no need. Part of the problem is you all seem to think you're worse off than someone else. I choose to care about someone else's needs. If I see a person struggling worse then me I extend a helping hand. What ever happened to helping your neighbor? Maybe this isn't the neighborhood I grew up in anymore. I don't know.

Tammy -- What are you talking about? I'm confused? I think people who have special needs have parking spots. You all assume that because I'm pregnant it means I don't have special needs. Many pregnant women do have special needs. In my case I am in a high risk pregnancy and have to be extremely cautious. You might not think anything of it but if someone just had serious surgery or was suffering from a disease, etc. I would completely understand. I do park near cart returns as much as possible but it isn't always an option. A lot of times we aren't talking an extra 10-25 feet.... we are talking a football field at some shopping centers. And by the way, it's not just for the mom's it's for the newborns as well. My son was a preemie this winter who and we had to be very careful about taking him out. So once again, let's not assume.
