Donald L. Waltman, 80, of Zelienople died Wednesday at Windsor Place, Gibsonia.

Born May 24, 1928, in Chicora, he was the son of the late Lawrence and Florence Collier Waltman. Following the death of his parents, he was raised by the late John and Marie Riley.

Mr. Waltman was the founder of Zelie Consumer Discount in Zelienople.

Active in the Zelienople community, he served on many boards and committees and was one of the founders of Horse Trading Days.

Mr. Waltman was a Marine Corps veteran who served in the Korean War.

He was a member of St. Gregory Roman Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus.

Don enjoyed golfing, hunting and playing with his grandchildren.He is survived by two daughters, Pamela A. Waltman of Polk and Heidi M. DiNucci and her husband, Jay, of Wexford; a son, Douglas L. Waltman and his wife, Jackie, of Cranberry Township; three brothers, John Riley of Butler, Michael Riley of Chicora and Bernard Riley of Butler; three sisters, Margaret Schneider, Patricia Riley and Mary Kay Summerville, all of Chicora; and five grandchildren, Chelsea, Kayla, Ben, Jack and Gabby.He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret "Peggy" Waltman; and a son, Donald J. Waltman.

<B>WALTMAN</B> — Friends of Donald L. Waltman, who died Wednesday, Sept. 10, 2008, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the <B>Boylan Funeral Home</B>, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 9 a.m. Saturday at St. Gregory Roman Catholic Church, Zelienople, with the Rev. Robert M. Miller officiating. Entombment will be in the Butler County Memorial Park, Butler Township.Memorial donations may be made to St. Gregory Roman Catholic Church, 2 W.
