3:34 p.m. Tuesday — Avehicle driven by Ralph Christie, 83, of Butler struck two mailboxes and a tree along Greenwood Drive. Police said the crash occurred after Christie suffered a medical emergency.Christie earlier was spotted driving on Route 422, where his vehicle struck a cement barrier numerous times before traveling onto Greenwood Drive. Police said after the crash he was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital for treatment of his unspecified medical condition.
Wednesday — Jessie Kamerer, 23, of Chicora was arrested and jailed on charges she broke into the Cogo's gas station in Manor Township Sept. 1. Kamerer, who is charged with burglary, conspiracy and theft, is in the Armstrong County Jail on $25,000 bail.Sunday — Derek L. Blair, 40, of Rimersburg faces hit-and-run and other charges following a crash on Route 1004 just north of Poseytown Road in Madison Township.Police said Blair was speeding between 5:30 and 6:30 p.m. when his car left the road and hit a mailbox and landscaping in a yard. The car went airborne for about 33 feet before hitting a light post and tree in another yard.Blair, according to a police report, fled the crash site. Police said he faces a number of unspecified traffic violations.9:39 a.m. Sunday — Jeffrey Adams, 26, of Templeton was arrested for allegedly assaulting his mother, 46-year-old Tina Adams of Templeton, during a domestic dispute at an Allegheny Avenue home in Pine Township.Adams was arraigned on charges of simple assault, harassment and disorderly conduct, and placed in the Armstrong County Jail on $10,000 bond.Police, meanwhile, also charged Tina Adams for harassment for allegedly hitting her son. Additionally, she was cited for criminal mischief for damaging a window of a car owned by Kristen Nolder, 21, of North Washington.
