Sunday — Police arrested Charles Gage, 28, of Butler, who was wanted on a domestic relations warrant, at a West Brady Street apartment. He was later placed in the Butler County Prison for the warrant.2:48 p.m. Friday — Keith Mahood, 23, of Slippery Rock faces drug charges after he was arrested on a warrant in a traffic stop on West New Castle Street.Police said Mahood was searched and he was found with a prescription bottle containing 12 klonopin tablets. Apolice report noted the prescription for the anti-anxiety drug was not for the defendant.Mahood also was found with two stamp bags of suspected heroin as well as a syringe and spoon. Officers later turned up "numerous" empty stamp bags while searching the defendant's car, the police report said.Police charged Mahood with two counts of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.Thursday — Police cited Brock Maihle, 19, of Renfrew for careless driving after he was caught Sept. 26 doing "doughnuts" in the middle of South McKean Street.

7 a.m. Monday — A tackle box, several power tools and three bow arrows were stolen from a pickup truck on Colonial Avenue.Monday — Police filed theft charges against Scott Francis Martin, 18, of Fenelton for allegedly stealing a cell phone Sept. 26 at the Butler Senior High School.4:30 a.m. Sunday — Walter Scott Kradel, 27, of Butler was arrested for violating a protection from abuse order after allegedly leaving harassing and threatening messages on the victim's voice mail. Kradel was arraigned for the PFAviolations, and placed in the Butler County Prison on $10,000 bail.4:40 a.m. Saturday — Kevin Scott Robinson, 30, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Evans City Road.1:53 p.m. Friday — Vehicles driven by Clark Fair, 69, of East Butler and Patricia Showalter, 48, of Slippery Rock collided in Butler Commons.12:07 a.m. Friday — George Smith, 21, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of DUI after his car struck a parked pickup truck in the McDonald's parking lot at Greater Butler Mart. Smith was treated at Butler Memorial Hospital for minor injuries.11:29 p.m. Thursday — Kathryn N. Mitchell, 55, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of DUI on New Castle Road. In addition to DUI, Mitchell also is charged with resisting arrest.

9:11 p.m. Sunday — Ryan M. Raffel, 23, of Emlenton, Venango County, faces drug charges following a traffic stop on Meridian Road in Butler Township. Police said Raffel is charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, as well as unspecified traffic violations.Friday — Ronald Igersheim, 31, of Grove City was arrested after he allegedly was found with about $2,900 in stolen property taken Sept. 26 or 27 from Kennedy Diversified on Route 8 in Slippery Rock Township. Igersheim is charged with receiving stolen property.

2:45 p.m. Sunday — A burglar alarm apparently deterred an attempted break-in at the Shaffer Road home of George Miller in Slippery Rock Township, Lawrence County. A glass door was broken at the house but no entry was made.11:28 a.m. Saturday — A car driven by Karen Muntz, 54, of Zelienople and a sport utility vehicle driven by Melvin Krebs Jr., 40, of New Castle collided at Routes 19 and 108 in Scott Township. Police said Muntz was cited for a stop sign violation.
