Mary Evelyn McGuire of Cabot died Monday at Concordia Lutheran Ministries, Cabot.

She was born Dec. 5, 1921, in Wabash County, Orio, Ill., to Anson Edward and Bonnie Blanche Litherland Andrews.

She was a member of the Free Methodist Church in Evansville, Ind.

She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, as well as volunteering whenever there was an opportunity. Her presence and contribution to all those lives cannot be properly expressed with mere words. She will be eternally missed and remembered by those who loved her.

She especially enjoyed her summer months each year in Michigan with her family and many friends. The love she expressed for her grandchildren and great-grandson was without boundaries.

She is survived by three sons, Dwight Stewart of Sarver, Duane Stewart of Cottonwood, Ariz., and Larry McGuire of Champaign, Ill.; her sister Blanche Fearhiley of Lansing, Mich.; 14 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
