Joanne L. "Amba" (Lindsay) Wynn, 74, of Allison Park died Thursday after a courageous battle with cancer.

She is survived by her loving and devoted daughter, Rachel L. Wynn (Dennis Mellon); her cherished granddaughter, Lindsay Jo Wynn; and two loving sisters, Carolyn I. Lindsay and Nancy M. Lindsay, both of Evans City. She also is survived by two stepdaughters, Sherry Mendelson (Gibby) of Maine and Lee Anne Snook (Jeff) of Ohio; a step-granddaughter, Meredith Mendelson, of Maine; as well as many good friends.

Joanne was preceded in death by her parents, Stanley and Caroline Lindsay, and her husband, Dr. D. Richard Wynn.

She will be loved and missed forever.

<B>WYNN</B> — Friends of Joanne L. "Amba" (Lindsay) Wynn, who died Thursday, Aug. 28, 2008, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday and Monday at the <B>H.P. BRANDT FUNERAL HOME</B>, 1032 Perry Highway, Ross Township. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Interment will follow in the Allegheny County Memorial Park.
