Gerald E. Peterson, 71, of Saxonburg died Wednesday at the Saxony Health Care Center, Saxonburg.

Mr. Peterson was born on Feb. 17, 1937, in Natrona Heights to Archie and Leona E. Montgomery Peterson.

He had worked as a lot attendant for Bouchat Buick in Natrona Heights.

He was a member of St. Luke's Evangelical Lutheran Church of Saxonburg.

He enjoyed country music, the Steelers and the Pirates.

He is survived by his brother, Craig C. (Lorraine) Peterson of Woodridge, Ill.; and a brother-in-law, William Beatty of Washington, Pa.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Marlene Beatty.
