John A. Semes, 56, of Cincinnati, Ohio, died Sunday.

He was the loving father of Maria Semes; dear son of Agnes and the late John Semes; and brother of Susan (Bob) Sloan, Paul (Vicki) Semes, Mary Jean (Mark) Dietrick and the late Patricia Semes Mackrell. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews and his dear cat, Sirvodi.

Semes, who died Sunday, Aug. 24, 2008, will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. until a Mass of Christian burial at 10 a.m. Friday at St. James of the Valley Church, 411 Springfield Pike, Wyoming, Ohio.
