Frank R. Burke
Frank R. Burke, 72, of Craigsville died Friday at Butler Memorial Hospital.
Born Aug. 26, 1935, in Coylesville, he was the son of Richard and Margaret Sweeney Burke.
He first worked at the Burke Brothers Garage and then retired from Moonlight Mushrooms after 26 years.
Mr. Burke spent 22 years in the National Guard.
He was a member of St. John Roman Catholic Church, Coylesville.
He was an avid NASCAR fan.
Surviving are his children, Robert (Pamela) Burke of Craigsville, Diane (John) Bargerstock of Worthington, Gail (Jack) Blose of Cabot and Mark Burke of Worthington; grandchildren, Jake, John and Miranda Cousins, Jesse Burke, Kate, Sam and Jacob Bargerstock and Brian, Jason and Rick Blose; five great-grandchildren; a sister, Irene McLafferty of Fenelton; and his companion Mary Kroneberg and her family.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Connie (Williams) Burke who died July 1, 1993; and five brothers, Hugh, John, James, Joe and Harold Burke.
<B>BURKE</B> — Friends of Frank R. Burke, who died Friday, Aug. 22, 2008, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the <B>F. Duane Snyder Funeral Home</B>, Worthington. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the St. John Roman Catholic Church, Coylesville, with the Rev. Ken Kezmarski officiating.
