Monday — Police filed drunken driving charges against Ryan William Berger, 24, of Polk, Venango County, stemming from a traffic stop at 1:25 a.m. Sept. 13 on Maple Street.Troopers stopped Berger after he was spotted spinning tires and doing fishtails in a 2003 Jeep Wrangler on East Cooper Street, according to court documents.Police charged Berger for driving under the influence, reckless driving, careless driving and driving on the wrong side of the road.Monday — Brittany K. Knapp, 20, of Gibsonia was charged with DUI in connection with a 1:42 a.m. Sept. 13 hit-and-run crash at the Sheetz store on Main Street.In addition to DUI, Knapp is charged with DUI by a minor and accidents involving damage to attended property.Monday — Robert Lee Lawry, 44, of Forestville was charged with drunken driving stemming from a traffic stop about 9 p.m. Sept. 13 for allegedly running a red light at South Main and Franklin streets. He also is charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, and a traffic light violation.Monday — Shane S. Stahlman, 22, of Oil City was charged with DUI a week after she was spotted going the wrong way on Midway Alley at 1:52 a.m. Sept. 14. She also is charged with driving with a suspended license.

4:08 a.m. Friday — Mark A. Lowrey, 20, of Monroeville, Allegheny County, was arrested for driving under the influence on Kiester Road. Police charged Lowrey with DUI, underage drinking and driving with a burned out head light.2:39 a.m. Friday — Richard C. Smith, 20, of North Huntingdon, Westmoreland County, was arrested for drunken driving at Stadium Drive and North Road. Police also charged Smith with underage drinking and not using turn signals.

10 a.m. Tuesday — A40-inch, Magnavox LCDtelevision was stolen in a burglary at 281 Radar School Road in ForwardTownship. Atrooper, responding to a burglar alarm, went to the home and found the front door had been kicked in.Tuesday — About 30 pieces of copper pipe and 200 welding torch tips were stolen in a burglary at Stanzione Scrap Iron and Metals on Brewer Road in Clinton Township. The burglar between 6 p.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday entered the business through the garage after removing a window.Tuesday — Acatalytic converter was stolen off a vehicle in the Honda North parking lot on Route 68 in Connoquenessing Township. The theft occurred between Friday and Tuesday.Tuesday — Jereme A. Bean, 22, of West Sunbury was charged with driving under the influence stemming from a traffic stop at 1:26 a.m. Sept. 11 at Route 8 and Hall Road in Brady Township. Bean also is charged with a lane violation, careless driving and not wearing a seat belt.3:37 p.m. Monday — Apickup truck driven by David E. Everetts, 39, of Butler struck the rear of another pickup on Route 68 in Summit Township. Everetts faces a ticket for driving too fast for conditions. Terry Fairman, 47, of Marion Center, Mercer County, was driving the other truck.Monday — Police filed theft and other charges against Elijah A. Huellen, 20, of Slippery Rock, who is accused of stealing copper pipe and two sheets of aluminum on Aug. 19 from the Slippery Rock Road home of Daniel Strader in Slippery Rock Township. The stolen property was valued at $100.In addition to theft, Huellen is charged with receiving stolen property, trespass, driving with a suspended license and with an expired registration, and driving without insurance.Monday — Charles Edward Counts Jr., 23, of Slippery Rock was charged with DUI stemming from a traffic stop at 1:05 a.m. Sept 13 on Route 108 near Barron Road in Worth Township. Counts also was cited for not dimming his high beams.Monday — Ryan John Hays, 20, of Prospect was charged with drugged driving stemming from a traffic stop at 11:05 p.m. Aug. 31 at Route 8 and Muddy Creek Road in Brady Township.Police smelled an odor of marijuana coming from Hays' car after he was pulled over for failing to use his turn signals. He admitted he was "high"and had smoked pot about an hour earlier, court documents said.Ablood test later confirmed the presence of marijuana in his system. Hays is charged with driving under the influence of a controlled substance, careless driving and not using turn signals.Monday — David Lawniczak, 46, of Carnegie, Allegheny County, was charged with DUI for allegedly driving a dirt bike without head lights on and with no rear lighting system about 8:25 p.m. Aug. 31 on Route 173 in Slippery Rock Township.Lawniczak also was not wearing a helmet and his vehicle had no license plate.In addition to DUI, Lawniczak is charged with driving with a suspended license-DUI related, driving without insurance, and driving with an expired registration and without a proper class of license.He also was cited for two lighting violations as well as not using turn signals, not wearing required protective equipment and driving an uninspected vehicle.Friday — An unknown burglar kicked in a garage door at 1307 West Sunbury Road in West Sunbury, but apparently did not take any property in the burglary between Sept. 9 and Friday.

1:58 a.m. Saturday — Scott Anthony Kay, 37, of Grove City was arrested for driving under the influence on Springfield Church Road in Findley Township.
