Jennifer A. Hicks
Jennifer A. Hicks, 33, of East Brady died Tuesday at her home.
Born Nov. 12, 1974, in Butler, she was the daughter of Larry A. and Laura M. Crawford Hogan.
She was a 1993 graduate of Karns City High School and attended Butler County Community College for two years.
She loved children and spent many hours with her niece, Haylee.
Mrs. Hicks worked at Indspec Chemical, Petrolia, in the storeroom and on the switchboard.
She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, East Brady. She was a member and vice president of East Brady Volunteer Fire Department, served as chairperson of the East Brady Riverfest parade for four years and was a volunteer EMT for East Brady Ambulance Service.
Surviving are her husband, David S. Hicks of East Brady, who she married May 20, 1995; her parents of East Brady; a brother, Jeffery A. Hogan and his wife, Melissa, of Bradys Bend; her maternal grandparents, Harry L. "Roy" and Beverly J. (Beabout) Crawford of East Brady; her paternal grandmother, Eleanor J. (Bishop) Hogan of Hillville, Perry Township, Armstrong County; and a niece, Haylee K. Hogan of Bradys Bend. Also surviving are aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Robert C. Hogan.
<B>HICKS </B>— Friends of Jennifer A. Hicks, who died Tuesday, Aug. 19, 2008, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m., today and 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at First Presbyterian Church, 102 Fourth St., East Brady. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. Friday at the church with the Rev. Jack Moriarty, pastor, officiating.
