Jack W. Staley
Jack W. Staley, 80, of Renfrew died at 6 p.m. Saturday at the Masonic Home in Sewickley.
Born Jan. 18, 1928, in Portsmouth, Ohio, he was the son of John Minehart and Irene Johnson.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served during World War II. He was a Masonic lodge member.
When he retired, he was the business manager of the Electrician's Union Local 10 in Butler after more than 40 years. He had worked at Fuellgraf Electric and other local companies in Butler.Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Dr. Rockwell (Karen J.) Dillaman of Pittsburgh; a son, Jack W. Staley Jr. of Denver, Colo.; a stepson, Dennis Shoup of Atlanta, Ga.; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a sister, Ruth Bortz of Prospect.He was preceded in death by his wife, Rita M. Staley, who died Dec. 14, 2006, and two sisters, Virginia Foster and Patricia Prementine.

Staley, who died Saturday, Aug. 16, 2008, will be received from 1 to 3 p.m. and from 5 p.m. until the time of the service at 7 p.m. today at the<B> Young Funeral Home</B>, Butler.
