Patricia Anderson Laythe, formerly of Dodds Road, Butler, died Saturday. She had been a resident of the St. John Lutheran Senior Center in Mars since 2005.

Pat was born July 28, 1927, in Pittsburgh and attended Aspinwall High School.

Prior to returning to Pittsburgh in 1985, she lived in Washington state for a number of years and was an avid fisherman and outdoorsman.

She is survived by her husband, Robert; daughter, Carol of Southampton, N.Y.; son William Dougherty and his wife, Wendy, of Placerville, Calif.; son, John Dougherty of Carlton, Ore.; and sister Jeanne Lang and her husband, Russell, of Valencia. She is also survived by three grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
