3:45 p.m. Tuesday — Four people were hurt when cars driven by Donna J. Miller, 79, of Butler and Brandon A. Guthrie, 18, of Petrolia collided at Route 38 and Hooker Road in Concord Township.A passenger in Miller's car, Vivian C. Miller, 59, of Butler, was treated at Butler Memorial Hospital for moderate injuries. Both drivers and Mark Nellis, 17, of Karns City, a passenger in Guthrie's car, suffered minor injuries. Miller was cited for a stop sign violation.6:10 p.m. Monday — James A. Pyle, 45, of Butler swerved his sport utility vehicle to avoid an unidentified car that ran a stop sign, and crashed into guardrails at Route 422 and East Butler Road in Summit Township. Pyle was treated at Butler Memorial Hospital for minor injuries. The unknown car possibly was a silver Ford Taurus.Monday — A Cherry Valley woman reported someone charged $400 in unauthorized online services to her bank debit card. Police traced the unknown thief to the United Kingdom.Monday — Someone between Sept. 2 and Monday stole a High Country compound bow from an unlocked garage at the Main Street home of Brian Bricker in Fairview. The camouflage bow is valued at $300.12:15 a.m. Sunday — Richard Moore Jr., 20, of Butler is accused of hitting another man on the head with a beer bottle at a home at Route 8 and Harmony Road in Slippery Rock Township.The victim, Jeremiah Rosser, 23, of Slippery Rock, suffered a cut on his head. Amber March, 20, of Slippery Rock was hit with glass fragments from the broken bottle and suffered a cut on the forehead.Rosser and March were treated at Grove City Medical Center for their injuries. Police obtained a warrant for Moore's arrest on charges of simple assault and harassment.
9:50 p.m. Monday — Donald Robideau, 19, of Sandy Lake was hurt when he lost control of his dirt bike and slammed into a small tree on Glenn School Road in Sandy Lake Township. He was treated at Grove City Medical Center for moderate injuries.
