Curtis C. Howard, 19, of Pittsburgh died tragically July 30 in Lancaster.

He was born Jan. 13, 1989.

He was the foster son of Gary and Barbara Kubala of Saxonburg.

He leaves behind his family in Pittsburgh; his foster family, Gary and Barbara Kubala; two sisters, Sharayah and Norryannah; and two brothers, Clinton and Dillon.

His grandmother, Layuana "Toni," preceded him in death.

Curtis attended Stevens Elementary School, Greenway Middle School, Dorseyville Middle School, Hampton Middle School, Shaler High School, Knoch High School and Northgate High School.

Curtis participated in track, wrestling, basketball and most of all he played and loved football.

<B>HOWARD</B> — A memorial service for Curtis C. Howard who died Wednesday, July 30, 2008, will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 14, at the Knoch High School Football Stadium for those that Curtis' life may have touched.
