Charles B. Rose

Charles B. Rose, 102, of Zelienople passed away Monday morning at the Passavant Retirement Community, Zelienople.

Born in Bloomfield, May 21, 1906, he was the son of the late Charles and Mary Klienmann Rose.

He was of the Catholic faith.

He was a barber and worked in the Pennsylvania Railroad Station, Pittsburgh.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Kaven Rose, who died Aug. 20, 1989; a son, Charles Rose; and a sister.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Elizabeth (Roy) Garland of Zelienople; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and a brother, Robert Rose of Bellevue.

<B>ROSE </B>— Friends and relatives of Charles B. Rose, who died Monday, Aug. 11, 2008, will be received from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday at the <B>A. Carl Kinsey-Ronald N. Volz Funeral Home</B>, 328 W. Main St., Evans City. A service will be held following visitation with the Rev. John Hoogerbrugge, assistant pastor of the Passavant Retirement Community, officiating. Burial will be at the Evans City Cemetery.The family suggested memorial donations be made to Passavant Retirement Community, 401 S.
