Angela Cametti of Butler was recently awarded a $1,000 scholarship by Vesuvius Americas.She is a graduate of Butler High School and currently attends the American University in Rome. She plans to graduate in May. She was awarded an honors scholarship during her junior year at the college and was also named to the dean's list.Cametti is the daughter of John and Mary Cametti of Butler. Her father works for Vesuvius USA in Pittsburgh.—-The following Clarion University students recently received scholarships for the 2008-09 school year:

Kory Kusick received a $1,080 James A. "Abby" Mays Scholarship. He is a Karns City High School graduate and the son of John Kusick of East Brady and Debbie Carrico of Oil City.

Kenneth Bonus received a $600 honors scholarship. He is a graduate of Butler High School and is the son of Edward and Elaine Bonus of Butler.
