1:03 a.m. today — Two Butler men are accused of causing a fight at and later vandalizing the Checkered Flag bar at North Monroe and East Locust streets.Police said Casey Dale Huffman, 20, and Andrew David Myers, 21, initiated a disturbance with other patrons at the bar. Atable and a chair were damaged in the fracas, which ended with the suspects being thrown out and told not to return.The pair, however, returned a short time later, allegedly tossing rocks and chunks of cement that broke three windows at the bar. The suspects ran away as officers arrived.Police chased down Huffman in the backyard of a home on East Brady Street. Myers remained at large.Huffman and Myers are charged with resisting arrest, criminal mischief, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness. Huffman, who also is charged with underage drinking, is in the Butler County Prison on $3,000 bond.A police report said the men caused an estimated $2,125 to the business.5 p.m. Saturday — Stacy Renee Byers, 18, was arrested for allegedly hitting her boyfriend, Daniel Gerard, in the head with a hair crimping iron during a domestic dispute at the couple's West Cunningham Street apartment. Byers is charged with simple assault.

8 a.m. Tuesday — A car driven by Leslie Ann Wheeler, 38, of West Sunbury crashed into a vehicle parked on Main Street near Thompson's Market in West Sunbury. The crash pushed the parked vehicle into another parked car. Police said Wheeler was cited for a lane violation.1:10 a.m. Tuesday — Unknown thieves stole diesel fuel from a vehicle parked at Butler Siding and Windows on New Castle Road in Franklin Township. The suspects drove away in a dark sedan.Monday — Shari Link reported that between 7 and 7:45 p.m. someone stole a Dell computer from her Woods Road home in Venango Township.
