The Jamiesons in 1958

The Rev. William and Jennie Jamieson will celebrate 50 years of marriage with a family dinner Saturday at the Hardwood Cafe.

Jamieson married the former Jennie Higgins on Sept. 13, 1958, at the Mapleton Baptist Church in Maine.

They have two children, Laurel Lohrey of Northfield Center, Ohio, and Benjamin Jamieson of Butler.

They also have three grandchildren.

Jamieson is the pastor emeritus at Westminster United Presbyterian Church in Evans City. He is retired as a pastoral counselor with the Pittsburgh Pastoral Institute.

Mrs. Jamieson is retired from working as a staff nurse at St. John's Specialty Care Facility in Mars.
