W. Scott Meals, 36, of Butler passed away unexpectedly at 2:48 a.m. Saturday at Butler Memorial Hospital.

He was born June 19, 1972, in Butler. He was the son of William E. "Toots"Meals and Linda D. Koebler Meals.

He was a veteran of the Marine Corps and was employed at Eisler Nurseries as a landscaper.

He is survived by a son, William Kash Meals, 13, of Slippery Rock; his parents, both of Butler; two sisters, Kathy Jo Prichard of Butler and Debra Martino of West Sunbury; a brother, David James Meals of Butler; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

<B>MEALS </B>— Friends of W. Scott Meals, who died Saturday, Aug. 2, 2008, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the <B>William F. Young Funeral Home</B>, 132 Main St., West Sunbury. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with Capt. Philip Hostellar of the Salvation Army officiating. Burial will be in the West Sunbury Union Cemetery.Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
