Roseanne L. Evans
Roseanne L. Evans, 66, of Highfield Road, Butler, died Monday at the Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Born Dec. 21, 1941, in Ford City, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Edward Szalankiewicz and the late Mary Elizabeth Radwansky Szalankiewicz.
Mrs. Evans was a certified nurses aid for Concordia Lutheran Ministries for 17 years. She was a member of St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church.
Mrs. Evans loved spending time with her grandchildren, gardening, playing cards, doing puzzles and caring for her ferrets. She also enjoyed music and watching NASCAR.
Mrs. Evans is survived by her husband, John "Pete" Evans, whom she married Sept. 14, 1968; her son, Vincent Evans of Butler; three grandchildren, Landen Evans, Cade Evans and Audra Evans; 10 nieces; 10 nephews; and several cousins.

North St.A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church at 11:30 a.m. Friday with Father Pierre Falkenhan of St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church officiating.
