Motko

Pauline Motko, 89, of Butler died Sunday morning at her home.

Born July 27, 1919, in Bredinville, Butler Township, she was a daughter of the late Andrew and Sophia (Chumko) Urnosky.

A homemaker and mother, she was a member of St. Michael Ukrainian Catholic Church in Lyndora.

Pauline had enjoyed embroidery, working word puzzles and flower gardening.

Surviving are a son, David F, Motko and his wife, JoRene, of Butler; a daughter, Mrs. James (Pauline) Falis of McMurray; a daughter-in-law, Maria Motko of Butler; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph P. Motko Sr., whom she married Oct. 11, 1936. He died March 27, 1999. She was also preceded by a son, Joseph P. Motko Jr.; two brothers; and a sister. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

<B>Motko</B> — Friends of Pauline Motko, who died Sunday, July 27, 2008, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the <B>Geibel Funeral Home</B>, 201 E. Cunningham St. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Michael Ukrainian Catholic Church, 610 Hansen Ave., Lyndora. The Rev. Douglas Lorance, pastor, will officiate.
