C. Leroy "Lee" Gaiser, 87, of Prospect died at 9:30 a.m. Sunday in the Butler Memorial Hospital emergency room.

Born Aug. 19, 1920, in Worthington, he was the son of Earl and Bessie Hilliard Gaiser.

He was a retired engineer from PennDOT in Indiana, Pa.

He was a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Worthington. He enjoyed camping, music, and his pet dogs.

He is survived by his wife, Jean Hilliard Gaiser, who he married Dec. 9, 1976; a son, Douglas Gaiser and his wife, Susan, of Kittanning; three daughters, Darlene Moorehead, Patricia Leonard, and Terry Emminger, all originally from the Kittanning area; a stepson, Douglas Badger and his wife, Ginger, of Long Beach, Calif.; a stepdaughter, JoNell Yard and her husband, Douglas, of Harrisville; a sister, Laretta Graham and a favorite niece, Tammy Fleeger, both of Worthington. He is also survived by a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, a sister, and a stepson.

<B>GAISER</B>— Friends of Leroy Gaiser, who died Sunday, July 27, 2008, will be received from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Presbyterian Church of Prospect. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church.
