Blah Blah, how do we keep it all straight now that we are into full blown election coverage? How confusing is this? Do we know the real Obama? Obama , has ties to a terrorist organization, they say,? Yeah he met a man who was bad when he was 8 years old. Does that count as an association? Evidently it does according to McCain's ads on TV. One politician says one thing the other says another and in the middle we all get lost on the things that really don't matter. Does Obama have the experience to lead? Well, I am not sure, but I do know that the hayseed we have in there right now is a bumbling nincompoop that couldn't manage a lemonade stand. What an embarrassment to all of us to be represented to the world by such an incompetent individual. He is complaining about the Russians? Hello, W. Do you have room to talk? Anything we get has got to be better than what we have , right? I sure hope so. The other question is does it matter who we elect. They are all rich boys who have special interest groups lobbying for their attention. The system is flawed. You have to be rich to run for an office because advertising is so expensive. There really is no chance for simple folk who are honest and trustworthy to ever hold that office. The rich are always for the rich. That is how it is. Look at all the hoopla on TV right now with the DNC. What a Dog and Pony show! Who is it for? And look who is there. All these politicians that we pay exorbitant taxes for are there having the time of there lives. I bet we foot the bill for hotels , food and transportation!! They are not getting anything done. Are they working? How is it that Ed Rendell could follow Hillary around for 6 months or better and still get paid for doing his job as Governor? You can't tell me he was doing the job he was elected for. Also , when these politicians like Hillary and Obama and McCain run for office who does the job they were elected to do? Do they step down and have someone fill in for them; no! They continue to get paid for doing nothing more than advancing there own status on our nickel. Pretty slick isn't it? If a politician ever did anything besides take our tax money and squander it I would be amazed, and probably die from heart failure. This whole election process makes me sick to my stomach. I don't know what is worse; this countries fascination with politicians or there fascination with sex and drugs. We have the "pleasure" in between watching the dog and pony show of being entertained by mud slinging, confusing ads and also lets not forget the ads for Viagra, Cialis and a host of other disgusting products that will boost your sex life. I am touched that the manufactures of these products care so much about what I do in my private life that they would actually advertise, their queer products on TV. Do we really need these types of commercials? I say No. If you have a problem in that area go to your doctor and get it resolved. I am tired of hearing these long winded commercials about erections. Maybe they are hoping that if you listen to these idiotic ads long enough you will inherit the disability. If you have that problem and are not aware that you can take a pill for it then you must be living under a rock. The rest of the population should not be subjected to this type of crap commercials on TV or radio for that matter. I don't know , but these sure are crazy times we are living in. I don't mean to sound so negative but I have just never seen or heard more ridiculous things. It seems like every time there is an election it is always down and dirty, it doesn't matter if what is said is truthful or not. If there is the tiniest thread of something to go on it gets blown out of proportion. I wish politicians could magnify the amount of money I keep in my pocket the way they magnify each others shortcomings. I am turning my TV OFF until this crap is over. John
