Bates

Jean R. Bates, 66, of Fombell died Thursday at her home.

Born Aug. 20, 1941, in Bristol, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Carl and Ruth Baxter Fox.

Mrs. Bates was a member of St. Peter's Reformed Church, Zelienople.

She is survived by her husband, Thomas R. Bates, who she married Sept. 2, 1959; her son, Thomas R. Bates Jr. and his fiancee, Cindy Kennedy, of Mars; two daughters, Michelle J. Moss and her husband, Kevin, of Avalon, and Barbara R. Grag and her husband, Doug, of Ambridge; her brother, Carl Fox of Woodbridge, Va.; 10 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren.
