Helen L. McGregor, 79, of West Sunbury passed away at 4:10 a.m. Wednesday at her home after an illness.

She was born Aug. 4, 1928, in Logans Ferry and was the daughter of the late Harry and Frances (McGinnis) McDonald.

Mrs. McGregor was a member of the Springdale Lutheran Church and had worked at Mack's Poultry Farms and Indiana Farms.

Surviving are her husband, Dean I. McGregor, who she married Aug. 22, 1959; a daughter, Terry R. Ray of Butler; two sons, Robert E. McGregor and his wife, Sheri, of Butler and Richard D. McGregor of West Sunbury; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Ronald E. McGregor; a grandson, Dustin G. McGregor; three sisters, Marie Graham, Martha Johnson and Beatrice Walker; and five brothers, Edward, Robert, Harry, Dallas and Richard McDonald.

<B>MCGREGOR</B> — Friends of Helen L. McGregor, who died Wednesday, July 23, 2008, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the <B>William F. YOUNG Jr. Funeral Home</B>, West Sunbury. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. Karl Schoenk of the Springdale Lutheran Church officiating. Burial will be at the West Sunbury Union Cemetery.
