Rita M. Kelly
Rita M. Kelly, 81, of Natrona Heights, formerly of Buffalo Township, died Sunday at the Good Samaritan Hospice, Cabot, following a brief illness.
Born Jan. 14, 1927, in Buffalo Township, she was the daughter of Andrew Cole and Margaret (Richard) Cole.
She lived in Buffalo Township for 80 years and moved to Natrona Heights Nov. 1, 2007.
A 1945 graduate of Freeport High School, she was a homemaker and also had been a beautician for a number of years.
She was a member of the St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Cabot.
Mrs. Kelly enjoyed gardening, flowers, working outside, ceramics, playing bingo and reading.
She is survived by two sons, Roger A. (Kim) Kelly and Andrew E. (Shari) Kelly, both of Buffalo Township; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a sister, Irene Kelly of Natrona Heights; and a daughter-in-law, Joleen Kelly of Buffalo Township.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William G. "Glenn" Kelly, who died in 2007; a son, David Kelly, who died in 1988; a grandson, Lincoln Kelly; two brothers, Regis T. and Andrew Howard Cole; and three sisters, Ruth Milbert, Grace Tressel and Edith Cole.

Kelly, who died Sunday, July 20, 2008, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the <B>DUSTER FUNERAL HOME</B>, 10th Avenue and Corbet Street, Tarentum, 724-244-1526. A Christian funeral Mass will be celebrated at noon Wednesday at the St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Cabot, with the Rev. John Getsy, O.F.M., Cap., officiating.
