7:25 p.m. Monday — A car driven by Lori Sager, 45, of Butler struck a 13-year-old Butler girl as she walked across the intersection of East Jefferson and Linden streets. The girl was treated at Butler Memorial Hospital for minor injuries.12:01 a.m. Monday — An SUV owned by Kevin and Rebecca Ruth of Butler was damaged by a hit-and-run driver while parked on Standard Avenue, at the intersection with Center Avenue.6:58 p.m. Sunday — Nichole Renee Yon, 37, of Butler was charged with driving under the influence and careless driving after the car she was driving allegedly struck a truck several times as she tried to park near Linden Street.10:22 a.m. Sunday — A car owned by Ashley M. Grenek, 21, of Butler was heavily damaged by a hit-and-run driver while legally parked on Zeigler Avenue near Kauffman Drive.9:39 a.m. Sunday — Ricky Curtis Pisarchick, 47, of Butler was charged with simple assault after he allegedly struck James A. Freed, 50, of Butler with his fists, a lamp and a shovel during an argument. Pisarchick also is accused of striking and kicking his own sister, Dianne M. Watt, 53, of Butler during the argument.12:01 a.m. Sunday — Sarah Christine Janecki, 21, of Butler was charged with driving under the influence/highest rate of alcohol and careless driving following a traffic stop near McKean Street after police allegedly observed her committing several traffic violations.3 p.m. Saturday — Someone ransacked the home of Brian Jones along Hettie Way in Butler, stealing several items including a Dell flat-screen monitor, a Compaq laptop computer and a Samsung S85 digital camera.12:01 a.m. Friday — George Thomas Martin Jr., 30, of Petrolia was charged with driving under the influence/highest rate of alcohol, accidents involving damage to unattended property and driving under suspension. He also was arrested on an outstanding warrant after the SUV he was allegedly driving crashed into a sign before hitting a building at 205 W. Wayne St., owned by Cynthia Snow of Butler.3:57 p.m. Aug 11 — John E. Williams, 44, of Barboursville, W.Va., was charged with fleeing the scene of an accident after the tractor-trailer he allegedly was driving struck a utility pole at the corner of North Main and East Brady streets. The truck was identified by witnesses at the scene.8 p.m. Aug 10 — A car owned by Enterprise of Pittsburgh was struck by a hit-and-run driver while legally parked at the corner of College and Lorenz streets.
2:25 a.m. Saturday — Zachary Philip Vavro, 23, of Butler was charged with driving under the influence after his vehicle crashed along Delwood Road.
6:10 p.m. Monday — Someone stole about $500 in merchandise from JC Penny's in Clearview Mall. Anyone with information should call police at 724-284-8100.7 a.m. Monday — A car driven by a 17-year-old Butler girl crashed and rolled over along Mahood Road near Gregor Lane in Oakland Township. The girl was wearing a seat belt and was not injured.1 a.m. Saturday — A total of seven mailboxes and newspaper boxes stolen from various residences were recovered along Moran Road in Clearfield Township. While no boxes were taken from Moran Road addresses, police believe they were taken from streets in Clearfield and Summit townships. Because the boxes don't have numbers, police can't determine exactly where they were stolen from. Anyone with information about the incident or needing to report a missing mailbox should call police at 724-284-8100.Friday — Someone shot six times at a building owned by the state Game Commission near Game Reserve Road inDonegal Township, causing $1,200 damage to a garage door, window and the siding. No one was injured. Anyone with information should call police at 724-284-8100.3:02 a.m. Wednesday — Samuel James Audia, 26, of New Castle was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia after he had to be flown to UPMC Cranberry following an apparent heroin overdose along Interstate 79 in Cranberry Township.6 p.m. Aug. 10 — Someone attempted to kick in the door of a residence along North Pike Road between 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. Aug. 10, causing $50 damage to the door jamb. The building is owned by Wayne Floyd Pflueger of Cabot.
7:10 p.m. Sunday — A car driven by Logan Moore, 17, of Mercer hit an embankment before traveling another 90 feet and rolling over, stopping in an upright position. Moore was not injured, but was cited for not driving at a safe speed.1:02 p.m. Sunday — A car driven by Matthew Donahue, 41, of Sandy Lake hit a parked car on North Main Street in Sandy Lake. He was not injured. Donahue was cited for several traffic violations, including leaving the scene of a crash.11:18 a.m. Sunday — A 17-year-old girl was cited for harassment after allegedly threatening Lyndsey Langley, 23, of Stoneboro at Grove City Medical Center in Pine Township.3:30 p.m. Friday — A vehicle driven by Rebecca Henninger, age unavailable, backed into a second vehicle parked behind it in the Prime Outlets parking lot on Route 208 in Springfield Township. Henninger then fled the scene. No one was injured. Henninger was attempting to avoid police, who were en route to investigate possible criminal activity by passengers in her vehicle. She faces several charges.Friday — Someone damaged the yard-ditch area in Oak Hill Cemetery at the intersection of Cemetery and Latham roads in Sandy Lake Township between 3 p.m. Thursday and 9 a.m. Friday.8:30 a.m. Friday — A vehicle driven by Mary Frye, 59, of Emlenton hit a guard rail and a tree off Route 208 in Pine Township. Frye, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken to Grove City Medical Center by Superior Ambulance for treatment of minor injuries. She was cited for not staying in the road lane.4:45 p.m. Aug. 11 — A car driven by Michael Pringle, 51, of Masury, Ohio, struck the rear of a pickup truck driven by Paul Baer, 88, of Jackson Center, Mercer County, that had stopped for traffic on Route 58 in Pine Township. The impact set off a chain reaction in which the pickup truck then struck the rear of a second pickup truck driven by Jamie Forrester, 25, of Polk, Jefferson County, which then hit the rear of a car driven by Ronald Hale, 44, of Grove City. No one was injured. Pringle was cited for careless driving.
11:40 a.m. Monday — Lonn Shaffer, 41, and Catherine Shaffer, 39, both of Harmony, were both charged with harassment following an altercation in their car, which was traveling on Interstate 80 in Clarion Township.1:45 a.m. Thursday — Someone broke into the All Stars Bar in East Brady and stole several unspecified items.
