Albert E. Grossman, 65, of Slippery Rock passed away at 9:33 p.m. July 8 at the Butler Memorial Hospital after an extended illness

Born June 18, 1943, in Butler County, he was the son of the late Claude L. and Josephine G. Deal Grossman.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and had been a laborer at Pullman Standard Railcar Manufacturing.

He is survived by a sister, Clara Mabel Fleeger of Butler; a brother, Chester Grossman of Slippery Rock; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a sister and three brothers.

<B>GROSSMAN</B> — Graveside services for Albert E. Grossman, who died Tuesday, July 8, 2008, will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, July 18, at the West Sunbury Union Cemetery with the Rev. David Ealy, of St. John's Methodist Church, officiating.Arrangements are by the <B>William F. Young Funeral Home</B>, West Sunbury.
