11:03 a.m. Wednesday — Anthony Lavon Bledsoe, 36, of Butler was arrested following a reported domestic dispute at a Hallet Street home.Bledsoe allegedly threatened Tory Austin's life during an argument between the couple. Officers searched the suspect and found in his pants' pockets bags of suspected crack cocaine and marijuana, and $846.Bledsoe is charged with possession with the intent to deliver a controlled substance, terroristic threats, possession of a controlled substance and possession of a small amount of marijuana. He was arraigned on charges and placed in Butler County Prison on $25,000 bond,Wednesday — Police filed theft-related charges against Philip Anthony Campbell, 28, of Butler for allegedly stealing his girlfriend's debit card last month.Campbell is accused of trading the card with Emma Parker, 35, of Butler for $150. Police suspect Parker on July 5 used the card at the Butler Commons' Wal-Mart to buy $380 worth of groceries.Campbell is charged with theft and receiving stolen property. Parker is charged with access device fraud and identity theft.9:18 p.m. Tuesday — AButler woman was injured when she was hit by a parked car that was struck by another car on East Brady Street.Sara Jeffries, 26, was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital with minor injuries.The crash occurred when an eastbound car driven by Ryan Albright, 31, of Pittsburgh hit a car parked on the side of East Brady Street. Albright told police he "blacked out" just before the crash.The crash forced the parked car into Jeffries, who was standing on the sidewalk beside it.
Tuesday — Police charged Joshua Ray Herald, 20, of East Butler in connection with the July 24 theft of a bicycle. Herald is suspected of stealing the bicycle at the Broadway Avenue home of Debbie Douglas in East Butler.2:35 p.m. Monday — Joseph Tamblyn, 66, of Butler was hurt when the motorcycle he was driving struck the back of a car that was stopped to turn on Route 68 at the Connoquenessing Elementary School.Tamblyn, who was wearing a helmet, was treated at Butler Memorial Hospital for moderate injuries. Vincent Schaffer, 41, of Butler was driving the car.Monday — An unknown burglar kicked in the front door and rummaged through kitchen drawers at the Slater Road home of Shelia Eakin in Allegheny Township. Nothing was reportedly taken in the burglary between 6 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.Monday — Anelderly Clay Township woman was conned out of more than $1,000 after falling for a scam that promised her $6.5 million in a contest.The unknown con artist called the 81-year-old victim and claimed she had won the multi-million dollar prize. But to collect the winnings, she had to wire $1,096 to cover so-called "legal fees."The woman sent the money to a Jamaica address but received no prize.2:50 a.m. Sunday — Jacob Drzemecki, 21, of West Sunbury was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after his pickup truck struck a tree along Old Brick Road in Washington Township. Drzemecki suffered minor injuries.Sunday — Jack Greenfield of Greenville, Mercer County, reported his trailer, valued at $1,300, was stolen between Aug. 1 and Sunday from the Cooper's Lake Campground in Worth Township.Saturday — An unknown thief between 3:45 and 6 p.m. stole a Butler woman's billfold at the Butler Farm Show Grounds in Connoquenessing, and used a bank debit card in the billfold to buy $300 in gas. Police believed the suspect, a white woman, is a carnival worker at the Butler Farm Show.Friday — An unknown vandal with a blunt object caused nearly $7,500 in damage to a pickup truck at the Church Road home of Ricky Fajohn in West Liberty. The pickup's tires were also slashed. The vandalism occurred between 4:30 p.m. Thursday and 9:30 a.m. Friday.Thursday — An unknown thief stole a canoe from Miller Road in Slippery Rock Township. James Warrender of Hermitage, Mercer County, owns the canoe that was taken between June 11 and Thursday.Aug. 7 — Police charged Michelle Lee Ball, 25, of Center Township for driving under the influence of drugs stemming from a one-vehicle crash last month on Route 8 at the Clearview Mall in Center Township. Neither Ball nor her 2-month-old son in the car was injured in the crash about 9:15 p.m. July 27.Ball is charged with driving under the influence of a controlled substance, child endangerment, driving on the wrong side of the road and a lane violation.Aug. 5 — An unspecified amount of money was taken between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. in a burglary at a Watters Station Road home in Forward Township.
Monday — An unknown thief removed a catalytic converter, valued at $200, from a sport utility vehicle parked at the Grove City Auto Mall on Route 58 in Pine Township. The theft occurred between Friday and Monday. Dezerea Freshwater of Slippery Rock owns the SUV.
