Louise Elizabeth Denys, 97, of Butler died Monday at Sunnyview Home.

Born April 27, 1911, in Sharpsburg, she was a daughter of Martin and Elizabeth (Shields) Sasse.

She was a member of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, and she had worked at the St. Paul Rectory as a secretary until her retirement in 1998.

Surviving are a daughter, Sylvia Denys of Pittsburgh; and a sister, Margaret Mary Sasse, who lives at Sunnyview.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Eleanor Thomas and Ruth Sasse.

<B>Denys </B>— There will be no visitation. A memorial Mass for Louise Elizabeth Denys, who died Monday, July 7, 2008, will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at the St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, 128 N. McKean St. Cremation services are provided by the <B>Geibel Funeral Home</B>.The St. Paul Guild and Christian Mothers will meet at 9:40 a.m. Friday at the church to recite the rosary.Memorial donations may be made to the Blind Association of Butler, 322 N.
