Rick from Butler states that there was no justification under international law for the US-led invasion of Iraq. I, on the other hand, submit that there is no justification for international law. "International law" is nothing but a morass of regulations that constrains the free nations of the world from acting in their own defense while coddling dictators. Iraq, by being a rights-violating regime, had no claim to sovereignty. It is an absurdity that the dictatorship-ridden UN has to approve any actions of the US. Iraq subjugated its citizens to sub-human conditions and did not respect any individual rights. The government was illegitimate and any freedom-respecting nation would be justified in its overthrow.

For the record, my "roots" are not from the Middle East. I was born in Pennsylvania to Indian immigrant parents and have lived here my entire life. One does not have to experienced the tyranny in Iraq first-hand to realize it was an outlaw nation.
