I can't help checking in here to the "Lisa, Matt and Amesh Forum" occasionally. Although I agree with Amesh on a few points (church/state separation, pro choice for women etc.), Lisa and Matt are nonsensical ranters who spout off a great deal of misinformation and are very confused about history and geopolitical realities. Joe rightly straightened out Lisa regarding Hitler's national socialism. Hitler actually improved the German econonmy when he took power. His downfall was warmongering, race hatred and genocide - things that our good old US of A is not innocent of either. Another piece of toal misinformation I see here is the notion that socialism has failed miserably everywhere it has been tried. Many countries have practiced socialism with great success, surpassing America by nearly all measures. If we'd say communism has failed miserably that would be a true statement. Lisa and Matt have obviously read a few books, but they need to read a lot more and open their minds to the truth of matters. For now, they are stuck in the cramped, dark intellectual tunnels of their own hollow ideologies.
