Thomas Grant's letter to the editor extolls the ability of increased exposure to world religions in education as the solution to the sentiments expressed by Charles Callhan's defense of State Representative Daryl Metcalfe's Christian-supremacist comments. What Mr. Grant fails to realize is that so long as people utilize faith as their tool of knowledge, as all religions do, ultimately sectarian strife is inevitable. One will find counterparts to Mr. Callahan and Rep. Metcalfe in every religion.

In reply to Jake from Freeport: I believe it should be obvious from my unfettered support of the Bill of Rights and the inalienable right to life, liberty and property that under no circumstance could my political philosophy be consistent with any form of dictatorship or monarchy.
