2:04 a.m. Sunday — Shawn Clark, 35, of Oakland Township was arrested for driving under the influence on Cedar Street. Police said that Jerri Miller, 31, of Butler, a passenger, was cited for possession of a small amount of marijuana.Saturday — ALawn Boy mower valued at $160 was stolen from a storage shed in a burglary between 12:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. at the South Monroe Street home of John Burkert.
10:59 a.m. Sunday — Tiffany Mullen, 19, of Butler was cited for retail theft after allegedly trying to steal merchandise from the Dollar General store at the Greater Butler Mart.2:18 a.m. Sunday — Zachary Cameron, 23, of Mercer was injured apparently when he fell down a heavily wooded ravine at Delwood Road and Bon Aire Drive.Mercer Road volunteer firefighters were called to help. Afirefighter was sent down a rope to get to Cameron and brought him out of the ravine. Cameron suffered minor injuries but refused medical treatment.Police said Cameron was intoxicated and was cited for public drunkenness.5 p.m. Thursday — Robert Super, 29, of Pittsburgh was cited for retail theft for allegedly shoplifting merchandise from the Butler Commons' Wal-Mart.4:53 p.m. Thursday — A15-year-old girl, who police did not identify, was cited for retail theft for allegedly taking merchandise from the Dollar General store at the Greater Butler Mart, without paying for the items.1:17 p.m. Thursday — John W. Webb, 39, of Lyndora was arrested for allegedly punching an unidentified female in the face several times during a domestic dispute. Police said the victim was treated at Butler Memorial Hospital for minor injuries. Webb is charged with simple assault.
2 p.m. Monday — An Armstrong County woman is accused of taking three items valued at $470 without paying the full retail price for the merchandise at the Sears store, Clearview Mall in Center Township. Police said Gloria Cravener, 44, of Kittanning is charged with retail theft in the case.12:21 p.m. Monday — Dennis Durnell, 58, of Grove City was hurt when the International Harvestertruck he was driving struck a tree and overturned along Route 68 near Old Route 68 in Forward Township. Durnell, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital with unknown injuries.Sunday — An assortment of collectible silver coins was taken between 1:30 p.m. Friday and 7:25 p.m. Sunday in a burglary at the Albin Road home of Edward Gajovsek in Clinton Township.Sunday — About $50 in damage was reported but nothing apparently taken in a burglary between 11 p.m. Saturday and 7 a.m. Sunday at Novotny's Pizza on State Street in Saxonburg.7:53 p.m. Saturday — William Taylor Jr., 22, of Carmichaels, Greene County, was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after his car struck the rear of another car on Route 422 near Bonniebrook Road in Summit Township.Taylor, police said, also was cited for driving with a suspended license and several other traffic violations.10 a.m. Saturday — Awallet was found at Moraine State Park in Worth Township. A police report noted that the wallet contained identification; however, attempts to contact the owners were unsuccessful. The owner can claim the property by calling the barracks at 724-284-8100.Saturday — A pair of wedding bands and an engagement ring were stolen between June 27 and Saturday in a burglary at the Keck Road home of Kay Reiser in Jefferson Township. The stolen property is valued at $12,500.Saturday — An unspecified amount of lumber was stolen from vacant property on Old House Road in Bruin. Kevin Kelly of Bruin owns the property that was taken between 8 p.m. July 1 and 5 p.m. Saturday.Saturday — A 17-year-old boy reported that $740 was stolen from a Parker Pike Road home in Allegheny Township. The theft reportedly occurred between 10 p.m. Friday and 3 p.m. Saturday.Saturday — Nothing was reported taken in a burglary between 3:30 and 5:20 p.m. at the home of Helen Geibel on Carbon Center Road in Summit Township.7 a.m. Wednesday — A car driven by David A. Bell, 23, of Grove City ended in the woods after crashing on Boyers Road near Marks Lane in Marion Township.
