As I have been watching television over the past week or two, I find myself annoyed at a certain commercial. I was wondering if anyone else felt the same way or am I just being overly sensitive.

The commercial is David Dacovanie, I think he was on the X files, asking for money for the people of Miamar (not sure of the correct spelling) who suffered from a cyclone.

I sat there after hearing the actors plea and thought to myself, why would I send money to people who refuses our government's help? Then I thought of the people in the midwest who need our help just as bad if not more. Needless to say I turn the channel when I see the actor's face.

I received in the mail the other day a plea for a donation from the red cross. Money is very tight at the moment, and I normally would not give especially being out of work, but after seeing the Miamar commercial and feeling so angry over it, I think I will send the Red Cross (which says it will go to the midwest families) something in spite of that actor/commercial.

Am I wrong to this way?
