Tuesday — Police are searching for a travel trailer stolen from Cars and Credit Butler Pre-Owned on Pittsburgh Road.Investigators said someone stole the 27-foot, 2008 Cherokee Toy Hauler between 9 p.m. Monday and 8 a. m. Tuesday.The trailer is white with wolf graphics and the words "wolf pack" on all four sides. It has two axles and the back door also serves as its ramp.Anyone with information about the case is asked to call police at 724-285-9600.2:35 p.m. Friday — A car driven by Blair Kerr, 21, of Butler struck the rear of another car at East Jefferson Street and Delwood Road. The crash pushed the rear-ended car driven by Tim Linnon, 49, of Butler into a third vehicle driven by Kristin McMillen, 18, of North Washington. Police said Kerr was cited for driving too fast for conditions.
3:54 p.m. Tuesday — Christina Marie Johnson, 23, of Butler was arrested for allegedly shoplifting 16 pairs of earrings at the Boscov's store, Clearview Mall in Center Township.Police said Johnson admitted to taking the 14 karat gold earrings, valued at a combined $1,638. She was arraigned on a charge of retail theft, and placed in the Butler County Prison on $5,000 bond.Tuesday — A.357-caliber handgun and jewelry were stolen between 8 p.m. Sunday and 3 p.m. Tuesday in a burglary at the Freeport Road home of Joseph and Dianne Gallagher in Summit Township. The stolen property is valued at $8,420.Monday — An unknown thief stole a mailbox at the Stardust Court home of RichardKotch Jr. in Connoquenessing Township. The theft occurred between 11:30 p.m. Sunday and 5 a.m. Monday.8 a.m. Sunday — Acar radio head/face plate was found in the driveway of a home on Bonniebrook Road in Summit Township. The owner can claim the property by calling the barracks at 724-284-8100.
Tuesday — Police reported that Jeffery Marcus, 44, of Worthington was charged with driving under the influence stemming from a May 13 traffic stop on Bear Street in Worthington.Police said tests showed that Marcus' blood-alcohol level was more than four times the legal limit under state law, and that two different controlled substances were found in his system.June 4 — An unknown identity thief fraudulently obtained the credit card information of an East Brady area man and bought $1,565 in items over the Internet.
