Knoll 50th anniversary
John and Patricia Knoll of Butler will celebrate 50 years of marriage with a Mass at 4 p.m. Saturday at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, Butler. The Rev. Lester Knoll, brother to John Knoll, will be the celebrant. The mass will be followed by a dinner and reception at St. Peter's Hall.
Knoll married the former Patricia Ritts on June 14, 1958, at St. Mary Roman Catholic Church in Parker.
They have five children, Sally Pry of Slippery Rock, Stephen Knoll of Johnstown, Miriam Shakely of Butler, Melissa Kristine of Sarver and Christine Alexander of Cranberry Township.
They also have 15 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Knoll is self-employed as a building contractor.
Mrs. Knoll is a retired nurse who worked for Dr. Marwaha in Butler.
The couple are members of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church in Butler.
