Butler High junior is named county's dairy princess

The new Butler County dairy princess for 2008-2009 is

Anna Flick.Flick, 16, is a junior at Butler High School. She is the daughter of Randy and Beth Flick of Fenelton.The Dairy Princess Pageant was held May 24 at Mount Chestnut Presbyterian Church. Flick competed for the title by giving a speech on the importance of dairy, performing a skit for children and answering an impromptu question about dairy.Flick is a member of the Butler High Marching Band, Student Council, the Beaver-Butler Dairy Judging Team and Youth Council and is active in her church.Alternate dairy princess is Rebecca Cratty, 16, a sophomore at Butler Intermediate High School.She is the daughter of Carla and Doug Cratty.Dairy maids are Trisha Covert, daughter of Becky and Ivan Covert of Chicora, and Michelle Hartzell, daughter of Kathy and George Hartzell of Slippery Rock.Dairy miss is Sara Lang, daughter of Carrie and Larry Lang of Harrisville.The Butler County dairy princess and her court are available to speak and promote the importance of dairy.For more information, call Beth Flick at 724-283-8947 or Sandy Stephenson at 724-285-4179.
