4:54 p.m. Sunday — Renee Nulph, 36, of Lyndora was seriously injured when the motorcycle she was driving crashed after the bike's foot peg struck the road at Center and Boyd avenues. Nulph was treated at Butler Memorial Hospital.
1 a.m. Tuesday — James M. Sines, 31, of Hagerstown, Md., was arrested for driving under the influence after his vehicle struck the rear of a pickup truck at Pittsburgh and Litman roads. Jordan Fisher, 20, of Butler was driving the pickup.In addition to DUI, Sines is charged with careless driving and driving with a suspended license. Police said Sines was arraigned on charges and placed in Butler County Prison on $5,000 bond.11:52 p.m. Monday — Edward Kemper, 54, of Lyndora was arrested for suspicion of DUI after his vehicle struck a neighbor's parked car. Police said Kemper also was cited for possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, and accidents involving damage to an unattended vehicle.
Monday — Someone pried the cement footers from the safety rail on the Butler-Freeport Rails to Trails path, destroying the stockade rail, between Sunday and Monday. The Butler-Freeport Trail Council is offering a $500 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the people involved.
1:53 a.m. Tuesday — Marcy Graham, 50, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence at North Monroe and West Locust streets in Butler.3:16 p.m. Monday — David Zanicky, 34, of Fenelton was injured when a sport utility vehicle struck the back of his motorcycle on Herman Road near Ziegler Avenue in Summit Township.Zanicky was taken to UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh with moderate injuries. Police said the driver of the SUV, a 17-year-old Butler boy, will be cited for careless driving.9:30 p.m. Sunday — An unidentified brown or tan Ford F-150 pickup truck crossed the center line and struck a car on Boyers Road in Marion Township. The unknown driver of the pickup did not stop after the crash. William Crooks, no age given, of Harrisville, was driving the car.3:10 p.m. Sunday — Two people were injured when their motorcycle collided with a car that pulled out of the Browns County Kitchen parking lot on Route 488 near Brenneman Road in Portersville.Jeffrey Bucci, 51, who was driving the cycle and wearing a helmet, and Katheryn Bucci, 48, a passenger without a helmet, both of Ellwood City, Lawrence County, were treated at Ellwood City Hospital for minor injuries. Police said Kyle Tillia, 19, of Portersville, who was driving the car, was cited for illegally crossing or entering a road.8:55 a.m. Sunday — Acar driven by Jonathan T. Ford, 19, of Butler struck the rear of a pickup that was stopped on Route 8 and turning into the Clearview Flea Market in Center TownshipGary Zang, 50, who was driving the pickup, Sandra Zang, 45, a passenger, both of Butler, were treated at Butler Memorial Hospital for minor injuries. Police said Ford was cited for following too closely to another vehicle.Saturday — An unknown thief Friday or Saturday stole an unspecified amount of beer after breaking into a garage at a West Sunbury Road home in Clay Township.
4:35 p.m. Monday — A car driven by Joshua Faulkner, 18, of Rimersburg crashed and rolled onto its roof on Kisengers Mill Road in Madison Township. Faulkner suffered minor injuries.
