3:13 p.m. Sunday — Jerome Burke Jr., 41, of Butler is accused of forcing a train to make an emergency stop as he walked on railroad tracks between Kittanning and South Monroe streets.Employees on the Buffalo/Pittsburgh Railroad train told authorities they blew the horn and yelled for Burke to get off the tracks but he refused, according to a police report.Police said Burke faces charges for railroad vandalism, interfering with transportation facilities, defiant trespass and disorderly conduct.Noon Sunday — Anthony Bledsoe, 36, faces a charge of simple assault for allegedly hitting his girlfriend, Tory Lee Austin, 26, during a domestic dispute at their Standard Avenue home.11:49 p.m. Friday — Two adults and three teenagers face charges in connection with an alleged underage drinking party at a North Main Street apartment.Charged with furnishing alcohol to minors are Grant Clicquennoi, 31, of Butler and Brandon Lettiere, 23, no known address. Lettiere also is also charged with corruption of minors and possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance.Two 13-year-old girls and a 17-year-old boy were cited for underage drinking. In addition, the boy is charged with public drunkenness.10:43 a.m. Friday — Apickup truck driven by Thomas Curtician, 65, and a sport utility vehicle driven by Pamela McLaughlin, 53, both of Butler Township, collided on West Jefferson Street.12:26 p.m. Wednesday — Acar driven by Leesa Tirk, 19, of Butler and an SUVdriven by Debora Bicker, 49, of Oakland Township collided at East Brady and Monroe streets. Police said Tirk was cited for a flashing red light violation.
7:45 a.m. Monday — Erika McCue, 18, of Butler was hurt when she lost control of her car and hit a utility pole along Route 8 between Cooledge Street and the Picklegate Viaduct. Police said McCue was treated at Butler Memorial Hospital for minor injuries to her legs.2:52 Sunday — Angela Smith, 20, of Butler was arrested after a suspicious activity call on Kittanning Street. Police said Smith was charged with false reports to law enforcement authorities, disorderly conduct, public drunkenness and underage drinking, and placed in the Butler County Prison on $2,500 bail.7:53 p.m. Saturday — Vehicles driven by Joseph Schmidt, 49, of Parker and Carl LeMaster, 71, of Pataskala, Ohio, collided on New Castle Road at the Moraine Pointe Plaza. Police said Schmidt was cited for an illegal left turn.6:20 p.m. Saturday — Chad Schooley, 21, of Harmony was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after his vehicle collided head-on with a pickup truck on Whitestown Road.Police said Schooley, who suffered minor injuries, also was cited with possession of drug paraphernalia and several unspecified traffic offenses. Larry Montgomery, 57, of Fenelton was driving the pickup.7:45 a.m. Thursday — Vehicles driven by Eric King, no age given, and Genevieve Bega, no age given, both of Butler collided on New Castle Road.
8:15 p.m. Sunday — Douglas Rodgers, 46, of Petrolia was injured when his motorcycle struck the rear of a sport utility vehicle on Chicora Road in Summit Township.Rodgers was flown by medical helicopter to Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh. The extent of his injuries and his condition were not known this morning.Police said Rodgers, who was wearing a helmet, was cited for following too closely to another vehicle. Jerome Winghart, 71, of Butler was driving the SUV.5:10 p.m. Sunday — Cars driven by Adrienne Fuhrman, 17, of Butler and Kelly Anderson, 32, of Denver, N.C., collided at Route 8 and Mercer Road in Center Township. Police said Fuhrman was cited for an illegal left turn.1:30 a.m. Sunday — Paul Montgomery, 44, of West Sunbury was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence at Hall and Beaver Dam roads in Clay Township.
