Betty Iman of Worthington, formerly of Chicora, celebrated her 80th birthday with an open house at the Chicora fire hall May 25.

The former Betty Ealy was born May 13, 1928, in Kaylor. She married Arthur Iman on August 21, 1945. He is deceased.

She has two children, Sandra Brown of Chicora and Pamela Knox of Bossier City, La. She also has five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Iman is retired from the former Bobbie Brooks in Butler.
