5:45 a.m. Friday — Sabrina Oleath, 24, of Butler Township was arrested for driving under the influence after police were called for a reported fight involving two women on West Cunningham Street.Officers found Oleath and Jessica Lynn Trinkley, 21, of Butler shouting at each other. Oleath, who was "visibly intoxicated," was standing next to her still running car.In addition to DUI, Oleath is charged with disorderly conduct and public drunkenness. Police also cited Trinkley for disorderly conduct and public drunkenness.
2:20 a.m. Sunday — Lena Connell, 48, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence at West New Castle and Chestnut streets in Butler.1:30 a.m. Sunday — Daniel J. Ekis Jr., 19, of Karns City was arrested for suspicion of DUI on Route 68 in Chicora.3:24 p.m. Saturday — Three people were injured in a two-vehicle crash in Concord Township.Police said the crash occurred when cars driven by Cody J. Slater, 19, of North Washington and Andrea Weckerly, 29, of Sligo, Clarion County, collided on Route 38. Both drivers and Delora Swigart, 50, of Sligo, a passenger in Weckerly's car, suffered moderate injuries.Saturday — A pair of lawn ornaments was stolen between 9 p.m. Friday and 8 a.m. Saturday at the Constitution Avenue home of Teresa Kennedy in Connoquenessing.9:56 p.m. Friday — A car driven by Jason K. Bouse, 20, of Butler crashed into a mailbox along Carbon Center Road in Clearfield Township. Police said Bouse was cited for an undisclosed traffic violation.4:30 p.m. Friday — Beth A. Confer, 44, of New Castle was charged with DUI and several other traffic violations following a traffic stop on Route 422 near McGrady Hollow Road. Confer was arraigned and taken to Butler County Jail.5:10 p.m. Thursday — A car driven by Mark A. Trimarchi, 52, of Ford City, Armstrong County, crashed into a parked dump truck in a construction area on Route 228 near Kelley Drive in Buffalo Township. Trimarchi was cited for careless driving.8:15 a.m. Thursday — Someone stole about 300 pounds of scrap copper from Stanzione Scrap Metal on Brewer Road in Clinton Township between 7:30 p.m. Wednesday and 8:15 a.m. Thursday.Additionally. someone also stole about 250 pounds of scrap copper from the same location between 7:30 p.m. May 20 and 8 a.m. May 21. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 724-284-8100.2:30 p.m. Wednesday — Police are searching for Daniel Anthony Weber, 15, of Harrisville, who has been missing since 8:45 a.m. Wednesday. Weber is about 6 feet tall, 135 pounds with short, sandy-colored hair and was last seen wearing blue jeans, white Nike tennis shoes and a black Avirex hooded sweatshirt. Anyone with information should call police at 724-284-8100.Wednesday — An unknown thief cut off a lock to a golf ball machine and stole $5 in quarters at the Saxon Gold Course on Ekastown Road in Clinton Township. The theft occurred between 8 p.m. Tuesday and 4 p.m. Wednesday.May 23 — A pickup truck and motor home were stolen from the front of a vacant home on Railroad Street in the Cabot area. The pickup is a two-tone, brown, 1977 Ford F-250 model; the motor home is a 22-foot, 1970 GMC model. Harry Bayne Jr. of Karns City owns the stolen property.
12:05 a.m. Saturday — Jonathan Phillips, 38, of Grove City was arrested for violating a protection from abuse order after he showed up at the Kwik Fill in Barkeyville Lisa Walter, 31, of Grove City, who holds the PFA, works at the store. Phillips was arraigned for the PFAviolation and placed in the Venango County Jail on $10,00 bond.
1:30 p.m. Wednesday — Police continue to investigate a stash of suspected drugs discovered during a warrant search of a Ford City Road home in North Buffalo Township.A police report provided no other information, only saying that "a large amount of suspected illegal drugs" was found. The evidence is undergoing testing at the police crime lab.
7:30 p.m. May 24 — An11-year-old boy accidentally shot a 14-year-old boy with a BB gun on Pensy Road in Springfield Township. Police said the 14-year-old was shot in the finger. No other information was released.
