9:59 p.m. Friday — David Lewinsky, 22, of Butler was cited for multiple counts of criminal mischief after he allegedly knocked the side mirrors off at least four cars on South Chestnut Street.State Police, ButlerMonday — The Butler County DUI Task Force and state police conducted a sobriety checkpoint and roving patrols over the holiday weekend resulting in one DUI arrest, 20 traffic citations issued, two drug arrests, one suspect arrested on an outstanding warrant and 57 written warnings issued.9:59 p.m. Sunday — A car driven by Judith M. Flis, 51, of Oil City struck a deer along Interstate 79 in Lancaster Township. Flis was wearing a seat belt and was not injured.2:15 a.m. Sunday — James MacArthur, 49, of Fenelton was charged with simple assault following a dispute with a woman at a residence on Fenelton Road in Clearfield Township. MacArthur was placed in Butler County Jail on $2,000 bail.12:45 a.m. Sunday — Carl Tillander, 31, of Butler was arrested under suspicion of driving under the influence following a traffic stop on Route 8 in Center Township. Tillander was placed in Butler County Jail on a prior bench warrant.12:13 a.m. Sunday — Greg Minda, 45, of Butler was arrested under suspicion of driving under the influence following a traffic stop on Route 528 in Forward Township.6:45 a.m. Saturday — Lucas Carson, 19, of Renfrew was cited for underage drinking after he was allegedly found intoxicated at a residence on Winfield Road in Jefferson Township.5:30 a.m. Saturday — An SUV driven by Stephen E. Carson, 19, of Renfrew crashed into a mailbox and a utility pole on Winfield Road in Jefferson Township. Stephen E. Carson and passenger Lucas H. Carson, 19, also of Renfrew were wearing seat belts and were not injured. Stephen Carson was cited for driving on roads laned for traffic.11:35 p.m. Friday — A car driven by a 17-year-old Sarver boy and a motorcycle driven by Michael McClure, 41, of Sarver collided at the intersection of Sarver and Kepple roads in Winfield Township. The boy was wearing a seat belt and was not injured. McClure was wearing a helmet and suffered moderate injuries. He was taken by medical helicopter to Allegheny General Hospital. The 17-year-old was cited for a speed violation.3:30 p.m. Friday — A pickup truck driven by a 17-year-old Renfrew boy crashed and overturned along Glade Run Road near Brownsdale Road in Forward Township. The boy was wearing a seat belt and suffered a minor injury. He was cited for failing to drive at a safe speed.1:20 p.m. Friday — Someone used a debit card belonging to Bonnie Loughman of Butler to make unauthorized purchases at Advanced Auto in Pullman Square shopping center in Butler Township between 3:30 p.m. Wednesday and 1:20 p.m. Friday. Any one with information should call police at 724-284-8100.4 p.m. Thursday — Someone stole a large amount of copper wire belonging to Daniel Overly of Karns City from a property at 114 Pine Road in Fairview Township between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. Thursday. State police are continuing to investigate the case.10 p.m. May 15 — Someone broke a window at Elliot's Auto Salvage in Muddy Creek Township and stole an unloaded pistol from inside, as well as two catalytic converters from vehicles parked in the salvage yard between 4:30 p.m. May 14 and 10 p.m. May 15. State police are investigating the case.5:45 p.m. May 15 — Someone broke into the Marwood Road residence of Mark D. Frey of Cabot between midnight Feb. 15 and 5:45 p.m. May 15 and stole 50 feet of copper piping, a silver lock box, a U.S. savings bond, 25 miscellaneous records and albums, a 5-by-3-foot green metal gun case, an antique Marlin 30/30 caliber rifle with scope and a brown stock, a 12-gauge single-shot shotgun with a brown stock, a Savage .410 caliber single-shot shotgun with a brown stock and a Remington .22 caliber target rifle with peep sight and interchangeable front sights and a brown stock between midnight Feb. 15 and 5:45 p.m. May 15. All of the guns were from the 1950s or earlier and the total value of the stolen items is estimated at about $2,450. Any one with information is asked to call police at 724-284-8100.

10:55 p.m. Saturday — Two black males removed money from a rear office of the Sheetz at exit 133 of Interstate 79 in Springfield Township. One of the men distracted the cashiers while the other went into the office and took the money, police said.9:35 p.m. Saturday — A car driven by Dale Vietmeier, 49, of McKees Rocks struck a deer along Interstate 79 in Springfield Township. Vietmeier and passenger Nancy Vietmeier, 48, also of McKees Rocks were wearing seat belts and were not injured.12:36 a.m. Saturday — William Graham, 26, of Slippery Rock was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence following a traffic stop on Route 208 in Springfield Township.10:30 p.m. Friday — Ricky M. Newton of Slippery Rock was arrested for possession of suspected marijuana following the traffic stop of a vehicle in which he was a passenger on Route 258 near Oak Lane in Slippery Rock.2:20 a.m. March 27 — Jason M. Robinson of Grove City was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence following a traffic stop on Route 258 in Findley Township.

7:23 p.m. Monday — Celeste Marie McKruit, 47, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence following a traffic stop on Route 422 near the Graff Bridge in North Buffalo Township. Gary Lee Nocera, 61, of Butler was charged with simple assault, recklessly endangering another person and harassment after he allegedly struck McKruit while she was driving.1 a.m. Saturday — Members of the Armstrong County DUI Task Force and Kittanning state police conducted a DUI checkpoint on Route 66 near Stitt Road in Manor Township. Two individuals were arrested under suspicion of driving under the influence, 11 citations were issued and 17 written warnings were issued for traffic offenses between 11 p.m. Saturday and 1 a.m. Sunday.10 a.m. Friday — A tractor trailer driven by Scott Berry, 32, of Chicora and a vehicle driven by Carol Kotora, 42, of Kittanning collided on Route 422 in Plumcreek Township. Berry, Kotora and Kotora's passengers George Kuhn, 73, and Beaty Kuhn, 71, both of Freeport were wearing seat belts and were not injured. Berry was cited for failure to drive her vehicle at a safe speed.

8:10 a.m. Saturday — A pickup truck driven by Brian S. Behm, 47, of Portersville crashed into a house along Route 488 near Pfeifer Road in Perry Township. Beam was not wearing a seat belt and was not injured. He was cited for failure to drive at a safe speed.7:36 p.m. Friday — A pickup truck driven by Dane A. Fearon, 49, of Butler crashed into a guardrail along Route 488 near Pleasant Hill Road in Perry Township. Fearon was wearing a seat belt and was not injured. He was cited for careless driving.

6:24 a.m. Thursday — A pickup truck driven by Tommy R. Thompson, 61, of Knox, a car driven by Holly L. Wilson, 34, of Harrisville and a pickup truck driven by Bruce L. McClain, 42, of Shippenville collided at the intersection of Route 66 and Doe Run Road in Paint Township. All three drivers were wearing seat belts and Wilson suffered a minor injury. Thompson was cited for failure to obey stop and yield signs.
