Michael D. Moore
Michael D. Moore, 40, of Walker Drive died Thursday while vacationing with his wife in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.
Born Nov. 18, 1967, in Grove City, he was the son of DeWayne Moore and Janet Heeter Leslie.
He was a graduate of Knoch High School and attended Westminster and Grove City colleges.
Mr. Moore was the director of compliance for NexTier Bank and recently received certification as a certified regulatory compliance manager.
He was a member of the St. Luke Lutheran Church, Hannahstown.
He loved to golf and work and play on the computer.
Surviving are his wife, Holly Burtner Moore, who he married Aug. 14, 1999; his mother and stepfather, Janet and Kenneth Leslie; his father and stepmother, DeWayne and Patricia Moore; two sisters, Laura Gizienski and her husband, Jim, of Valencia and Linda Steele and her husband, Frank, of Butler; a half-brother, Duane Moore and his wife, Bettina, of Georgia; a half-sister, Ashley Moore of North Carolina; his grandmother, Myrtle Anderson of Saxonburg; two stepsisters, Lee Kennedy of Butler and Lori Rudolph of Saxonburg; a stepbrother, Kerry Leslie of Butler; three nieces; four nephews; and his loving dog, Marcel.
<B>MOORE </B>— Friends of Michael D. Moore, who died Thursday, April 3, 2008, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the <B>Thompson-Miller Funeral Home</B>, 124 E. North St. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. Barry Keurulainen, his church pastor, officiating.
