Vidal R. Coffey, 35, of Chicora died unexpectedly Friday.

Born July 5, 1972, in Tazewell County, Va., he was the son Tena Blair Coffey and the late Bobby R. Coffey.

He was an assistant manager at Advance Auto Parts in Butler.

Surviving are his mother of Chicora; four sisters, Nella Robbins, Gail Mullin, Kim Hall and Barbara Baker, all of Virginia; four brothers, Larry Coffey of Virgina, Mark and Tim Coffey, both of Tennessee, and Bobby Coffey II of Butler; several nieces and nephews; and his girlfriend, Nicole Nevel of Butler.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandmother, Mabel Hall Coffey.

Coffey, who died Friday, April 4, 2008, will be received from 4 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the East Butler Fire Hall, where a memorial service will follow at 9 p.m. Burial will be private.Arrangements are being handled by the <B>William F.
