Dawn Lee Kepple, 52, of Fairview Road, North Washington, died at 12:30 p.m. Saturday at Sunnyview Home following a lingering illness.

Born Dec. 19, 1955, in Butler, she was the daughter of the late Cecil and Margaret Wagner Gibson.

She was Protestant and was a graduate of the Karns City High School Class of 1973.

Before she became ill, she helped her husband operate the family business, the Kepple Spouting Co., in North Washington.

She was a former Girl Scout Brownie leader in Butler.

She was employed at the Jay Shop in Butler as a book keeper and at The Signature One in Elwood City, The Advantage One in Cranberry, Financial Strategies in Wexford, and Country Wide in Greentree in capacities as a loan processor and underwriter.

She is survived by her former husband, Robert M. Kepple of North Washington; a son, Samuel Robert Kepple and his wife, Amy, of New Castle; a daughter, Sheri Lyn Auberzinsky and her husband, John, of Parkesburg; eight grandchildren, Phillip, Julia, Monica and Ian Auberzinsky, and Michele, Rachael, Nicole and Paige Kepple; two brothers, Dale Gibson and his wife, Melba, of Savannah, Ga., and Michael Gibson of Butler; two sisters, Margaret "Peg" Hillard and her husband, Wallace, of Butler and Carolyn J. McElravy of Chicora; and a number of nieces and nephews.

<B>KEPPLE</B> — Following the cremation of Dawn Lee Kepple, who died Saturday, April 5, 2008, a memorial service will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the <B>Richard D. Hillis Funeral Home</B>, 102 Argyle St., Petrolia. The Rev. Connie Dunn, VNA Hospice chaplain, and Lois Bowser of the First United Methodist Church in Butler will officiate.
