Helen V. 'Pat' Grant

Helen V. "Pat" Grant, 98, formerly of Villa Drive, died Thursday at Concordia Lutheran Ministries in Cabot.

Born Feb. 12, 1910, in Butler, she was a daughter of Harry W. and Florence Fleischer Grant.

She was a 1928 graduate of Butler High School. Following high school, she left Butler and became a businesswoman in Harrisburg and in Virginia. She owned and operated Drapery Cleaners and Decorators of Pennsylvania in Harrisburg and also Drapery Cleaners and Decorators of Virginia in Arlington, Va., for more than 60 years.

During her career, she was the past president and treasurer of the Central Pennsylvania Business Associates in Harrisburg.

She returned to Butler following her retirement in 1992 and was a member of Whitestown Road Baptist Church.

Surviving are four sisters, Mrs. Elmer (Dorothy) Wulff of Butler, Mrs. Buck (Florence) Oltman and Mrs. Elma Testi both of California and Mrs. Edith Kunz of Arizona; two brothers, Bill Grant of Nevada and Arthur Grant of California; and several nieces and nephews.

A brother and a sister preceded her in death.

<B>GRANT </B>-— Friends of Helen V. "Pat" Grant, who died Thursday, March 27, 2008, will be received from 11 a.m. to noon Saturday at the <B>Geibel Funeral Home</B>, 201 E. Cunningham St. Funeral services will follow at noon at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Summit Presbyterian Cemetery.Information also is available at www.geibelfuneralhome.com.
