Harrisville Community Band will present its annual spring concert at 7 p.m. Friday at the Harrisville Firehall on East Mercer Street. Selections will include "The Typewriter," "Onward-Upward March," "Our America" and "Cole Porter Classics." Admission is free.
Tanglewood Center, 10 Austin Ave., Lyndora, presents a dinner show with big band, jazz, blues and swing band Jimmy Sapienza's Five Guys Named Moe on April 26 in the center's Coleman Hall. <B>The Shuttlecocks</B>, a group of four Mars High School students, will compete on Sunday in the Battle of the Bands at Saddle Ridge in Pittsburgh. The group is composed of Peter Leslie, vocalist and guitarist; Mike Sybert, guitarist; Jack Leslie, bassist; and Zach Jamison, drummer. The teens perform pop punk music.
