"Westinghouse," a feature-length documentary film about the life and legacy of George Westinghouse, will have its world premiere at 1 p.m. Sunday at the Heinz History Center in Pittsburgh.

PITTSBURGH — The Senator John Heinz History Center, 1212 Smallman St., will host the world premiere of the feature-length documentary film, "Westinghouse," at 1 p.m. Sunday.

The film focuses on the life and legacy of George Westinghouse, an integral part of Western Pennsylvania's 250-year history of innovation.

In the fall, the George Westinghouse Museum officially merged with the History Center. As a Smithsonian-affiliated museum and Pennsylvania's largest history museum, the History Center tells the complete Westinghouse story.

Following the film's premiere, a group of panelists will answer questions from the audience and discuss the life and contributions of George Westinghouse, as well as the making of the film.

The event is free with Heinz History Center admission, which is $9 for adults, $7 for senior citizens older than 61, $5 for students with ID and for children ages 6 to 18, and free for children younger than 6.
